Midweek Update
Dollars for Mission supports Local, Regional, and even Global Ministries and Outreach. When one dollar bills (or contributions earmarked for Dollars for Missions projects) are placed in the offering plate, they go to support that week's chosen ministry.
This week's Dollars for Mission recipient is:
Rural Health Projects - Family Resource Center
The Family Resource Center will provide after school tutoring to 30 children in the community. It will also offer resources, barrier reduction services, education, and leadership training alongside the parents and guardians of these children and others in the area. The Family Resource Center is funded through ARPA funds through the Potts Family Foundation to Rural Health Projects and the Tri-County Health Improvement Organization. The grant has funding until 2026, however it does not cover needs like healthy snacks for the children in the after-school program.
