Over the past 20 years, several families have blessed Central Christian Church by establishing an endowment fund in honor of their family or loved one.  These funds distribute income to Central Christian Church at the beginning of each year to help fund their passions and ministries within our church. In 2022, these endowment funds distributed about $30,000 to Central Christian Church.  These funds allow us to say, “Despite obstacles our church has perpetual money for ministry’”.  The endowment funds that honor our church families and benefit Central Christian Church are shown below.

We hope to grow these endowment funds and establish new funds in 2022. If you are passionate about any of the ministries listed below or would like to honor any of these families, please send your check to Central Christian Church with the fund name noted in the memo line.  If you are interested in starting an endowment fund to honor your family, contact Dean Shaw -Special Gift Trustee. Because there are many options with endowment funds and gifts are tax deductible by law, he will put you in contact with the appropriate and qualified person at one of the three institutions that administer our endowment funds: The Oklahoma Disciples Foundation in Oklahoma City, the Christian Church Foundation in Indianapolis and the Cherokee Strip Community Foundation in Enid.

Memorial: Ed Krause

Ed Krause was a member of Central Christian Church, he joined his life and ministry at Central on Feb. 9, 1975. Ed served the church in many ways. He served as a Deacon, property committee member, world outreach committee, Stewardship committee, and a greeter. But Ed’s greatest gift was a fixer, he could fix anything! And as I was talking to several members of the church, they remembered Ed volunteering to fix problems around the building. This is a profound blessing to the church and the people who worship at Central.

Notice:  If you schedule a meeting or any type of function, please let Kandy know (at 233-1214 or receptionist@centralenid.org) so she can put it on the calendar and a room can be ready for you!
