Friday, August 4, please join us for our New Beginnings reception at 6:30pm in fellowship hall followed by New Beginnings Congregation meeting at 7:00pm.
House Group Meeting Sign-Ups!
Signups for New Beginnings Small Groups began on Sunday and we already have 28 participants! These groups will receive and study the New Beginnings Assessment for Central Christian and consider 3 possible "Future Stories" for the church. This is a chance to consider what faithful ministry and mission could look like in the years ahead. You will want to be a part of this!
Groups will begin meeting after Labor Day (4 meetings total). Here are the options:
Tuesdays, 6pm (Jorden home) Judi Jorden, facilitator
Tuesdays, 6:30pm (Jones home) Suzanne Klemme, facilitator
Wednesdays, 10am at Central Christian, Mickie Giberson, facilitator
Fridays, 2pm (Dell home) Sue Dell, facilitator
Fridays, 5:30pm (Seigars home) Jason Seigars, facilitator
*Groups are limited to 10 individuals each, and our goal is to sign up half our church's average worship attendance (55-60 people). Call Cheyenne at (580) 233-1214, option 2, to request your place.
The General Assembly of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is gathering in Louisville, KY, July 29-August 1. Rev. Susan & Chris Payne and Valerie & Don Driscoll are attending. Oklahoma City Dodgers Baseball Game
Central's Membership Committee is hosting a night at the ballpark!
August 25th at 7pm
Here's what is included:
Admission (seats behind home plate)

$6 credit for the concession stand
RSVP to Cheyenne in the church office. Tickets are $12.50* per person, due at time of reservation. The 14-passenger church bus has limited seating, so if you need transportation, please call the office as soon as possible.
*We have limited scholarships for this trip available. Call the office for more information.
Central Christian members and staff are conducting a room-by-room inventory of the church contents. Please call Melissa in the office if you are able to do a quick inventory of a room or area. Thanks to everyone who has helped so far!
