House Group Meeting Sign-Ups!

This Sunday, Central Christian members will have the chance to sign up for a New Beginnings House Group. In these groups you will engage in guided conversation about what a faithful, informed, and bold direction for the church's mission and ministry might look like!

The New Beginnings assessment that was recently completed will be distributed and discussed, so that everyone has a clear picture of the church as it is today - vital information! 

Groups are limited to 10 persons each. They will meet 4 times in the Fall, most likely every other week. You'll select your group based on the day of the week, time of the day, and location that works best for you.

The goal is to have 50% of our average worship attendance in these groups (that's 50-60 people!). Watch for the clipboards with signup sheets, beginning this Sunday (worship services & Sunday School).

  The General Assembly of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is gathering in Louisville, KY, July 29-August 1. Rev. Susan & Chris Payne and Valerie & Don Driscoll are attending. Oklahoma City Dodgers Baseball Game

Central's Membership Committee is hosting a night at the ballpark!
 

August 25th at 7pm
 

Here's what is included:

  • Admission (seats behind home plate)

  • Dodgers ball cap

  • $6 credit for the concession stand

RSVP to Cheyenne in the church office by July 22nd. Tickets are $12.50* per person, due at time of reservation. The 14-passenger church bus has limited seating, so if you need transportation, please call the office as soon as possible.

*We have limited scholarships for this trip available. Call the office for more information.

Central Christian members and staff are conducting a room-by-room inventory of the church contents. Please call Melissa in the office if you are able to do a quick inventory of a room or area. Thanks to everyone who has helped so far!
