Enid Police Department Gives Thanks for Hero Project
Central Christian Church, The Disciples of Christ Churches have been kind enough to support our police department with a monthly donation of snacks for our officers and civilian employees for the past few years.
While the snacks and items brought to the station are greatly appreciated, it is the marked improvement in morale that accompanies these donations that I most appreciate.
In today’s environment, there is far greater difficulty in being a police officer than say five or ten years ago. Having the support of such a group is invaluable for our officers.
There are very few times the words “Thank you” cannot convey the appreciation of a groups’ actions, but this is certainly one of those times.
