Meeting This Friday!
Central members are invited to an informal reception with our New Beginnings Coach, Cristie Sharpsteen, 6:30pm, Aug. 4, Fellowship Hall. An all-congregation session will follow at 7pm.
Whether you have planned to join a small group, or just want to know more about New Beginnings, please plan to attend. We need all of our members to engage by praying, participating, and envisioning a future for Central.
Claim your spot in a New Beginnings group!
New Beginnings Small Group sign-ups are happening now, and some groups have filled or are nearly full.
These groups will receive and study the New Beginnings Assessment for Central Christian and consider 3 possible "Future Stories" for the church. This is a chance to consider what faithful ministry and mission could look like in the years ahead. You will want to be a part of this!
Groups will begin meeting after Labor Day (4 meetings total). Here are the options:
Tuesdays, 6pm (Jorden home) Judi Jorden, facilitator
Tuesdays, 6:30pm (Jones home) Suzanne Klemme, facilitator -- this group is full
Wednesdays, 10am at Central Christian, Mickie Giberson, facilitator
Fridays, 2pm (Dell home) Sue Dell, facilitator
Fridays, 5:30pm (Seigars home) Jason Seigars, facilitator -- this group is full
NOTE: If you are not able to meet at any of these times, or if your only possible group time is full, please contact Rev. Susan. We will do anything we can to ensure that everyone wanting to participate is accommodated. Groups are limited to 10 individuals each, and our goal is to sign up half our church's average worship attendance (55-60 people). Call Cheyenne at (580) 233-1214, option 2, to request your place.
Will you need Transportation or Childcare in order to participate? Please contact the church as soon as possible.

Children kindergarten through 7th grade are invited to Hoover Splash Pad, Sunday, August 13, 3:00-4:30pm. Please meet in the West church parking lot no later than 2:50pm to load the van. Karen Foster will have cold water bottles at the splash pad and snacks in the Youth room upon return. Don't forget sunscreen!
Central Christian members and staff are conducting a room-by-room inventory of the church contents. Please call Melissa in the office if you are able to do a quick inventory of a room or area. Thanks to everyone who has helped so far!
Oklahoma City Dodgers Baseball Game
Central's Membership Committee is hosting a night at the ballpark!
August 25th at 7pm
Here's what is included:

$6 credit for the concession stand
RSVP to Cheyenne in the church office. Tickets are $12.50* per person, due at time of reservation. The 14-passenger church bus has limited seating, so if you need transportation, please call the office as soon as possible.
