New Empower & Equip Church Leadership Training Event Oct. 14th. Empower & Equip is a one-day leadership development conference for Oklahoma Disciples. This in-person event will be held Saturday, October 14th in Oklahoma City. Guided by the theme, "How does Jesus equip his disciples?” it will offer:
“Best Practices" workshops on vital ministry topics for elders, deacons, board members, youth and lay leaders
Lunch to continue the conversation in community
An uplifting worship experience with guest preacher Pastor Milton Bowens of Shepherd Street Christian Church, Chickasha.
$35 per adult, includes lunch. 9:30am-4:00pm at New Covenant Christian Church in Oklahoma City.
Central's Fall Festival is Coming in October!
Please join us for the annual Central Christian Church Fall Festival.When: Thursday, Oct. 5 at 6:00pm Where: Robinett's Party Barn, 5317 N Wheatridge, Rd. Tailgating theme - feel free to wear your favorite team's colors or come as you are! There will be food, fun and plenty of festivities for everyone! Tea and water will be served with dinner, but you may bring your own beverage of choice. Hope to see you there!
CACS is now collecting adult sized coats and sleeping bags for Enid's homeless, donations can be left in the box outside of the church office Monday-Friday from 9:00am-4:00pm.
Our elementary age kids had a fun time in Children's Sunday School had a great time last week with a cooking experience, learning more about Jesus and the Children. Come and join us at 9:00am every Sunday in the education wing!
Reconciliation Special Offering
On Sept. 27 and Oct. 1 Central Christian Church will receive the Reconciliation Special Offering.
The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is an Anti-Racist and Pro-Reconciling faith communion. We welcome ALL to the Table of Lord as we actively seek ways to expand the Table in order that all people know and experience the uncommon grace and love of our God. Your gifts to Reconciliation Ministry strengthen our Church’s witness to God’s unending love for all of humanity.
