We are Disciples of Christ, a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world. As part of the one body of Christ, we welcome all to the table as God has welcomed us.

Central Christian Church has a vibrant youth ministry, generously supported by the church. What makes our group so special? It is the diversity of teens and their commitment to this church. Teens are welcomed here regardless of who you are and where you come from. All are welcome here at Central Christian Church.
Our programming operates with the donations and offerings taken during church on Sundays and with the help of family support. When the youth group goes bowling or laser tagging, the church and parents can expect to split the cost. When the teens pack up for a week of summer camp or a mission trip, families and the church split the cost to make these opportunities affordable for all families.

Because Central Christian Church is a denominational church, we experience the connection with other Disciples of Christ churches by sharing the names of our junior high and high school groups: Chi Rho and CYF.

youth3Chi Rho are the first two letters in the Greek spelling of CRISTOS or Christ. In junior high we continue inviting kids and teens into a relationship with Jesus, and offer opportunities to reach out in mission to the community and the world.

CYF stands for Christian Youth Fellowship which seeks to build on the foundations laid in Chi Rho. High school students make up this group. More activities, weekend retreats, camp opportunities and leadership positions.
