Sundays are the only day of the week the food insecure aren’t fed in the city of Enid, without religious expectations. When we heard of this, we knew we wanted to put forward an opportunity for a meal with no strings attached, so that the most vulnerable in our city do not go without food from Saturday until Monday. We are calling upon the community of Enid to help care for our citizens who are in desperate need of help. Will you and your organization consider signing up for one Sunday a year to prepare and serve a meal to those in great need? By doing so, we as a community, will show those in our town who live in constant food insecurity that they have not been forgotten and are valuable and cared for by many.
